I took Brityn to the doctor the same time I took Ryder for his 9 month checkup. Mainly because we finally got a new pediatrician! Her weight is 30 1/2 pounds, in the 50%! This is the same kid who was barely on the charts for most of her life! Height is 38 1/2" also in the 50%. I knew she'd done some growing because she seems to already be growing out of 3T clothing. She still has tiny little feet, she is between a 7 and 8 depending on the shoe.
Swimming lessons went really well. Both kids did great. Ryder was the youngest child in his group and he did better than everyone. All the other kids cried and fought their parents, I don't know how much he will actually learn at 9 months but I guess it's a good start to getting him used to being in water. Brityn did awesome too, she loves being in the water and listened to everything her teacher said and cooperated.
I think dance class is going good too. As I said before we don't get to watch but she really seems to enjoy it and is happy when we come to pick her up. She has even showed me some of the moves she is learning. She is normally the child who won't talk about what she did at school or about her day so any feedback I get is fantastic. And oddly this is the kid who never shuts up otherwise, doesn't make sense to me.
