Las Vegas & Tucson

We'd been planning a trip to Tucson for a while so my grandma could meet Ryder (finally!) and then I figured since we were so close to Vegas we might as well stop for a night. Depending which route you take, you go right through Vegas and since we were driving it would be a good way to break up a long trip. Plus, Brityn has been talking about going to Vega a lot lately. She may be a gambler at heart. Brent and I don't gamble but her Grandma Carol and her Papa do so she comes by it naturally. We stayed at the Luxor. We were there less than 24 hours and didn't get to fit a whole lot in but the kids had fun at the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus. Brent and I want to go back in October for Supercross. Well, he wants to go for supercross I want to go eat and shop :)

After we got done playing with the kids we left them with my mom and had a late dinner at Tacos and Tequila. It was pretty fancy Mexican food as you can see.

Fun and games in the car. Brityn was so good the whole car ride. We barely heard a peep out of her the whole time. Ryder, not so much. He wasn't bad really he just required a little more attention, and complained about being bored, and about boogers. Brityn kept him entertained for a while the flower she won in Vegas.

I bought her a couple little lady bras and she came out wearing both, top and bottom.

At the zoo with the McDermotts

We were in a bird aviary and he said "I'm flying"

Riding some "animals" at the mall

My grandma took us the the Gaslight Theater on Easter for some dinner theater. Brent, Brityn, and Ryder had fun posing with all the old play boards.

Parts of the Grand Canyon and the dam at Lake Powell (can't remember the name)

More zoo pictures. These are all out of order because some were from my phone and some were from my camera.

Hunter in a turtle shell

The McDermott kids minus Bailea, she didn't want to miss school.

And more Dessert Museum

We had a lot of fun, even though it was hectic. I have so much family and my to do list is always way bigger than I have time. Brent hasn't been to Tucson with me since Dani got married 15 years ago! So, we tried to fit a lot of stuff in and it didn't feel like much of a vacation but we got to spend time with most of my family and go see some fun things and of course enjoy some much needed sunshine!
