Funny Stuff

This little girl has been cracking us up this past week!

But first the bathroom...
the floors are done, the trim is up, the toilet is sitting where it is supposed to be, so close to being ready! The counters still are not in and the shower door is still not installed. I'm thinking about doing some sort of faux finish on the wall in front of the sinks... mainly because we decided not to do any texture on the walls and that wall is less than smooth, hoping a little paint texture will hide it. I was less than thrilled with the floors once they were started. I wish I'd gone darker... we got a screaming deal on it way before we'd picked out the tiles for the walls. Now that it is finished and grouted it doesn't bother me as much but I'm still not 100% loving it. Not that I don't like the tile itself I just don't love it with the other tile.

Now for the funny stuff.

I went grocery shopping, I brought Brityn in and left her in her room while brought the bags in. On my last trip I glance in her room as I walk by and catch her just clearing the top of her crib, I was so shocked I choked on and swallowed my gum. When I asked what she was doing she grabbed a bink, stuck it in her mouth, laid down, and said "I sleep."

You know she is only allowed to have the bink when she sleeps!

All I could do was laugh.



We were playing in the living room and all she had on was her diaper, she took it off and was running around naked. She still hasn't used the potty and only wants to play on it but I figured this was a good time to see if I could get her to use it so I just kept telling her over and over that if she had to potty to let me know. I must have said it 15 times in 20 minutes. She walks up to me (I'm sitting on the floor) and says "I pee" and promptly pees all over my leg and foot. I grabbed her and sat her on the potty but she just screamed.

Again all I can do is laugh.

Wednesday during her nap at PopPop's he could hear her in room making a fuss so he went to see what was going on and she was sitting on top of her changing table (see picture above) We definitely have a little monkey!

The day before that PopPop was in the kitchen doing something and Brityn disappeared so he went looking for her. After he checked everywhere else he went to her bedroom as he passed the bathroom her could hear her talking to herself in there, with the door closed. When he opened the door she was sitting on the toilet, lid closed. He asked what she was doing and she said "PopPop, I pooped." He checked her diaper and sure enough she pooped!

Okay last story.

When I went to see her on my lunch hour Wednesday I was saying how hot I was she started blowing on me... like I was food and she was trying to cool me off.

So cute, so funny, so smart! I love that girl!!
