- 24 days till my due date!
- Brityn has been working very hard at being 100% potty trained. More often than not she will poop in the potty rather than her pull up. She will get out of bed at night and during naps and use the potty rather than pee in her pull up. I put a potty in her room just to make it easier for her.
- This baby is officially out of room!
- For the last month or two Brityn has started getting out of bed in the morning and coming into our bedroom to wake us up. That was fine and dandy until the time change... instead of sleeping until at least 8:00 she now wakes up between 7:00 and 7:30. It's amazing what an extra 30 minutes of sleep does for me. I can usually get her to lay with me for a while and watch a cartoon, but it doesn't do me much good because she is pretty chatty.
- Apparently I have a hernia... doctor seems unconcerned. I'm just glad I have an explanation for the pains I've been having.
- Brityn wants every single toy she sees a commercial for. I'm not a fan of toy commercials.
- I'm almost 100% ready for this baby to get here. Everything is washed, aside from all the gender specific clothing I haven't been able to resist buying. Those are sitting in a drawer with tags and receipts ready in case they need to be exchanged. I plan on cooking and freezing some meals this weekend. I need to pack a bag, but other than that all systems are a go.
- Brityn can count to 20.
- I can no longer bend over far enough to shave my legs or cut my toe nails. Putting shoes on shoes is almost impossible.
- Brityn can say her ABC's.
- GOD LOVE my father-in-law! He has been coming to my house in the morning to pick Brityn up. Sounds great hu? Even better than that, he cleans my house and does laundry for me! And even better than that... he's good at it! We are SO blessed to have such wonderful parents/grandparents in our lives!
- Brityn is now on asthma watch till she is 3. Her doctor had us purchase a nebulizer. More or less she does have asthma, they just won't officially diagnose it until she turns 3. She has every marker they go by for diagnosing asthma.
- I get another ultrasound next week (Wednesday). I got four when I was pregnant with Brityn. I've only had two this time. I realized after a conversation with my doctor that they probably did more last time because I measured small the whole time and were checking her growth, pretty sure he didn't mention it at the time so he wouldn't alarm me. That is NOT an issue this time around. I asked if I would be getting any more and he said "do you want to see your baby?" Uh, yeah! So, he had me set one up for my next appointment. I'm excited to see Clive again.
- Brent decided he doesn't like his name enough... more like, he hates it. What?! I love his name... whatever. So, we are not using Brent for our boy name. As of right now it's going to be Brenyn either way. More than likely I will spell it Brennen for a boy though.
- I need to come up with a new name for this blog... "Great Brityn" isn't going to work in a few more weeks. Any suggestions?
- Brityn's favorite song is "Dem Bones" on the Little People Halloween CD. I need to get a video of her singing along to it.

You are so close! I can't believe how far along you are now. :) When we officially know the baby's name then i will help you think of a new one. :)
wow i can't believe you are so close to having #2! i really like the name.
for the clothes you've bought, did you buy all one of a specific gender or some of each? do you think you know what the baby's gender is?
i was just thinking about your blog name when i came here today. since you'll have 2 b-names there are lots of cute things you can do with blog names. (like great brityn and the amazing brennan or something like that)
