iPhone Picture Dump

Ryder walks most of the time now, but he is not very good at it. He's a clumsy little guy and he is constantly falling over. He's constantly falling off of things, slamming his hands in drawers and doors, climbing on furniture and of course falling off. At some point he must have slammed his pinkie in something pretty hard because his nail has fallen off. No one has any idea when or where. The kid is tough. I know if Brityn had smashed her finger hard enough that the whole nail fell off, the whole world would have known about it.

Brityn and Ryder hanging out with cousins Bailea and Ashlynn at the Carousel and the children's museum in Helena.

We've had two peanut incidents in the last month. The first one we were over at a friends house and one of the kids gave her some peanut butter chips. She started complaining about her back hurting and then coughing. At first she wouldn't tell me that she ate something when she finally did we all sort of panicked. No one had any benadryl so Brityn, Brittany, and I ran to the store. Brittany ran in to get it but they didn't have actual benadryl and no one was helping her so she had to run back out to ask me what to do. At that point I grabbed Brityn and ran in myself. Found what we needed and as soon as I went to give her some she threw up all over the place. Twice. We ended up just going home early and I gave her another small dose and it knocked her out. That's the picture of her and Ryder sleeping together. Poor kid had a runny nose for days afterwards. Luckily it didn't get serious enough to warrant using the EPI pen. The second time she didn't even eat any, just the smell of peanut butter alone was enough to cause the second picture and some coughing and itchiness. I was really hoping that she would be the kid who grew out of this and/or would only have mild reactions to peanuts. Looks like that is not the case. It's very scary that just the smell can cause that bad of a reaction. Her eyes looked like that for 3 days. She kept looking in the mirror saying "I look terrible" then she'd run to Ryder and say "brother, look at me, I look terrible!"

More pictures from the children's museum. We had so much fun using this contraption. I don't know what it's called but I'm sure you've all seen the smaller version. It usually has silver "nails" (for lack of a better word). The first picture is all of our faces, multiple times and the second is just Ryder.

awww...peanut butter eyes! :( I am so sorry that you have to deal with that! There are a few kids at Jackson's school with peanut allergies and there are no peanut products what so ever even allowed in the building.
Gracie is also slamming her fingers in everything. She is absolutley into everything she can find!

Poor brityn! So sorry about the peanut reaction. The picture of them sleeping is so sweet, though! Bee is my bruiser too, always getting hurt and usually not making a big fuss like her sister would have!
