String Bean

Brityn had her 9 month checkup today. The doctor said she is a string bean. Weight is 16.8 lbs(15%) and height is 27.5" (50%). Everything looks good and she is right on track developmentally and ahead in some areas. I keep telling everyone she is a genius...guess I was right ;) She got her flu shot and has to go back in a month for a booster shot. She barely cried when the nurse gave it to her, so that was good. And supposedly flu shots shouldn't bother her like vaccines do (fingers crossed!!).

Brityn and daddy with his kill...I did a bad job of capturing the animals. There is a deer and a elk there. The deer is Brent's and the elk is Toby's
These are for Ryer-Brityn and George

goof ball
she loves climbing around on the couch

This weekend Brityn stood up on her own 3 times. As soon as she realized what she was doing she would panic and sit back down.
I think I've figured out the reason for the sleep "issues". Around the same time she started waking up at night she also started refusing her one bottle of the day. She would drink an ounce or two and be done with it. So, Thursday it dawned on me the two problems coincided and I thought "hmm, maybe she is hungry"....ding,ding, ding!! When she woke up I sat down to nurse her and she ripped her paci out of her mouth and was on me like she was starving. After I told Brent about my discovery he pretty much told me I was the meanest mom ever..."you hadn't tried feeding her!?! Don't you feel horrible?!?" Well, I sure do now!
